Foundation Hosts Local Soccer Organizations
On Thursday, April 4th the Seacoast United Foundation hosted representatives from travel soccer programs in Rockingham and Strafford Counties at the Holy Grail's Camelot Room in Epping, NH. The focus of the evening was to inform these clubs how the Foundation has the ability to assist with funds for their underprivileged youth soccer players. Seacoast United Foundation's Bob Masi Scholarship funds are for youth soccer players in Rockingham and Strafford Counties. Clubs simply need to let the Foundation know they have athletes who will have difficulty paying fees and the Foundation will give funds to help with the cost of these fees.

This year the Foundation received 3 applications and awarded grants to Exeter, Hampton and North Hampton Athletic Associations to offset costs to run their travel soccer programs.
Foundation Executive Director, Kathie Richard, joined the EYSA board of directors at Pimentos (downtown Exeter) on Tuesday night to present them with their $1,000 check. For more information on how Seacoast United Foundation can help your community program please contact her at email@example.com.

Richard Recognized on National Student-Athlete Day
2012 Seacoast United Soccer Club alumnus Jillian Richard was honored for achieving excellence in the classroom and on the field while making significant contribution to her school and community. She was given this honor on National Student-Athlete Day which is celebrated annually nationwide.
This honor "has become one of America's strongest endeavors promoting the positive virtues of sport and student-athletes as a whole, and the positive affect they both have on society."
The Seacoast United Foundation recognized these qualities in Jillian and awarded her with the Jarkko Tuominen Memorial Scholarship in 2012 for leadership and community service through soccer.
Congratulations to Jillian, her family, and Seacoast United Soccer Club for her success!
